Generally about Plato

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) West-Flanders has already been organising Plato projects for more than 10 years and has engaged more than 1000 companies into this project. The working method of Plato consists of experience sharing and information exchange via the input of mentors (larger companies) and SMEs (participants), through the coordination of an intermediary organisation. The results of Plato are obvious: SMEs build up a network, are informed about latest legislation, get information on different subjects, are better prepared for the globalisation, … The existence of a peer group where businessmen can put  their daily activities on a broader perspective is very important. GLOBUS is the international counterpart of Plato, and is based on the same principle, but with focus on an international subject or a foreign region.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) East-Flanders is currently starting up its 18th Plato network in Flanders.
