ePLATO

In the first place, the PLATO concept will be further elaborated in West-Slowakia, Ukraine, Hungary and Romania and will be transferred to Poland (the Podkarpackie region) and East-Slowakia for the first time. Also in Flanders, the creation of a support group will be organised. The intermediary organisations will function as coordinators for the formation of groups in their region. Plato stands for sharing experiences, learning from each other, information exchanges,… in small groups. The different groups will be in contact with each other through umbrella events, the e-Plato website, common business missions to Flanders,…

In the second place, the e-Plato website made more different tools available: online business clubs, an online forum with questions and answers, the incorporation of all Flemish and Central-European PLATO companies with a differentiation between PLATO and non-PLATO companies,… The purpose consists of direct and faster contacts between companies and information sharing.

In the third place, we want to stimulate physical contacts between companies and intermediary organisations and form a bridge between Central Europe and Flanders, next to the formation of Plato groups and the elaboration of the e-Plato website. This link is very important for the dissemination effect and sustainability of the project. The Central-European network will be invited on the Plato Vlaanderen Happening, the GLOBUS Vlaanderen Netwerkevent and some individual trade missions towards Flanders will be organised. Vice versa, the Flemish Plato and GLOBUS network will get involved in the Plato Central Europe Happening during a trade mission in Carpathia region. Next to these group missions, individual assistance will be provided to Flemish/Central-European companies that want to get in touch with their Central-European/Flemish counterparts.
